FOR TAKING PICTURES |
- Four
photographs can be uploaded (see diagram below).
Positions 3 & 7 are meant to capture interior
views. |
- Be
aware of your surroundings.
Other vehicles, buildings, etc. can detract from
the view of your equipment.

- All
photographs must be LANDSCAPE for best images
(see diagram below).
Do not turn the camera on end to take your picture
portrait style. The image wizard will crop them
automatically and make image smaller.

- Be
sure the equipment fills the frame when viewing
through the camera lens (see diagram below).
This will improve the pictures of your equipment
and reduce unwanted distractions.

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR SAVING YOUR PICTURES IN DIGITAL FORMAT |
- Scanning
pictures.
- Make
certain the pictures have been developed using
a "matte" finish.
- Use
your scanning software or other image editing
software to resize each picture to a height
of 311 pixels and width of 366 pixels.
- Use
a dpi (dots per inch) setting of 72 or 75.
- Save
the scanned photograph as a .JPG image to your
hard drive in a folder you can return to later.
- Use
a JPG image quality of 6.
- If
you are unsure of these file requirements, or
about scanning and saving images, refer to your
image editing software manuals for help.
- Saving
pictures from a digital camera.
- Download
your photographs to your computer.
- Use
a dpi (dots per inch) setting of 72 or 75.
- Save
the photographs as .JPG images to your hard
drive in a folder you can return to later.
- Use
a JPG image quality of 6.

about downloading and saving images, refer to
your digital camera and image editing software
manuals for help.

UPLOADING
EQUIPMENT PICTURES TO EQUIPMENTSEARCH.COM WEBSITE
Use the "Browse" button to locate your
equipment pictures saved on your computer's hard drive.
Once you have selected your pictures, you can copy them
to the EquipmentSearch.com web site by clicking the
"Upload" button. It may take a few minutes
to complete the upload depending on your internet connection
speed. |
